What’s Expert Medicals like?

So just paid for my Day 2 test coming back from holiday with Expert Medicals. I’ve heard mixed reviews about them so I am interested in your experience with them?! Thanks

On another thread about day 2 tests some posters said that the important bit is the barcode you need for the govt travel form. If the test didn’t turn up not to worry.
On that basis if you have the bar code you have what you need to get back into the UK. I intend to purchase the cheapest test I can find next week prior to going on holiday on 9th October.

We spent 120£ for day 2 tests for 5 of us. They arrived 2 weeks late and 2 weeks after that one person found they were negative. Others are still waiting 2 months on....

I've accepted it as a cost of holiday

The test turned up ok but none of the barcodes worked. They told us to write a new barcode on. But out of the four friends who went away NONE of our day 2 PCR results have turned up.
Whilst on a personal level it doesn't impact us or our holiday (and we have all tested negative on LFDs) morally I think it's a scam and the company is putting people at risk. The whole point is to detect infection and stop it spreading and they are failing to do that whilst being paid for it. If you care about doing your bit for stopping the spread of COVID then avoid but if you want to fulfil the requirements on your holiday travel then they will allow that.

Ok I am going to avoid expert medical based on other people’s experiences and go for the second cheapest I can find 😀
