Santa Claus and his reindeer are coming to town, actually Eccleston in Chorley. Santa Claus and reindeer from the Real English Reindeer Company herd will be the main attraction at The Green Centre's Christmas Fair and Market. The Charity's Green Christmas Fair and Market will be the first of its kind in Lancashire, mixing the atmosphere of a typical village Christmas Fair with Santa's Grotto, bottle tombola plus many more stalls, including an outdoor Gourmet Food and Craft Market featuring traditional Lancashire fayre and produce from local suppliers. The main twist of the day will be the recycling and reuse element of the Fair with 'Green' Christmas gifts, 'A Good as New' toy sale, workshops and activities aimed at promoting an environmentally friendly Christmas. 10am-4pm.
