Christmas alone 2021... ideas?

Hello, making plans to spend Christmas alone and looking for additional options /ideas!

Saw a previous post here last year which was good : www.mumsnet.com/Talk/holidays/4016115-Christmas-alone-any-ideas-where but now I’m looking for 2021

I have similar wants as the OP here, and so far the Scarlett Hotel or the Champneys as mentioned sounds good….

Any other ideas? I’m 28, and welcome a spa break, or possibly a holiday abroad that will incorporate that! :)

Hotel Dukes Palace in Bruges is an amazing spa hotel right in the centre of the city. Prices are very similar to Champneys and it’s easy to get to on Eurostar.

Hello, thanks for the suggestions! And they will be open on Christmas Day? Do you know what Bruges is like for Christmas for a solo person?

I would highly recommend you spend Christmas at www.Kaliyoga.com

They have a place in Italy or Spain. I've been to the Italian one and had such a wonderful week (I went alone to mark a birthday with a 0 on the end).
It is a yoga retreat but I'd never done yoga before and managed perfectly fine. There were also treatments available, wonderful healthy food, walks, lovely staff and other people on the retreat to chat to (nearly all of them had travelled alone) so give it a go - I can guarantee you won't regret it (I sound as though I'm affiliated to Kaliyoga but I'm honestly not LOL!)

Admittedly quite a few years ago but I went to Thailand with exodus over Xmas. 13 on the trip 7 singles 3 couples.

Their trips are not singles trips but have a lot of single people on them so that may work. Depends how long you want to be away for.
