Has anyone had a really early flight from here lately? We are flying from T2 at 6.25am next week. Is anything open to get a drink/food? Would like to be prepared so we can take something with us if nothing's open. Thanks😊

Hiya, I work there haha. So in departures we have Costa, WHSmith and pret. There are bars and an archies but for your flight they wouldn’t be open at thats time.

Thanks Charlotte, you are the perfect person to answer my question!. Are the Costa, pret and smiths open that early?

I've heard the shiny new T2 terminal has opened, is the M&S Simply Food open @CharlotteRose90
We're flying from there in October (covid permitting) and hope for a better experience than a couple of years ago when they were in the process of building it, so all the eating areas were a building site. We were hoping for a nice relaxing pub lunch before our flight, but about half the menu was off so had to have food that we didn't really want, plus it was criminally expensive, about £70 for a mediocre pub lunch and a couple of pints for two.

We flew from there on Thursday.
No queues at check in but this might change with life ted travel restrictions.
Airside, there's a Pret, Costa, WHS and a American diner type place for burgers and fries. There was also a bar upstairs that had bar food can't remember what it's called. Not sure about opening times.
It was eerily quiet for the time of year but absolute bliss as we were able to enjoy the new terminal.

Yeah their is an m&s there but it’s in arrivals so not after security. You could buy food there to take through but no liquids and it only opens at 10am each day sadly,
