Things to do near Cenarth falls

I am due to take my 10 year son on a weeks holiday to a camp site near Cenarth Falls. Does any one have any ideas of fun things we can do locally? I have a boat trip booked at cardigan bay so far and possibly a picnic at Newcastle emryn castle ruins.
Al ideas welcomed! Tia

The area is absolutely gorgeous and the beaches beautiful. Cardigan is a lovely town. Book Pizza Tipi which is a fabulous open air pizza restaurant overlooking the water. Poppet sands, mwnt, abberporth, Llangrannog. Penbryn are all gorgeous and great for paddle boarding too. What do you like doing?

Anything really! I like walking and eating! The boy likes a bit of action like biking or computer stuff

If you fancy a bit of a drive, feeding the red kites at Nant yr Arian is a great experience. It'll be about 1.5 hours from you.
Devils Falls is near there too.

If you get a boat trip from New Quay, you're almost guaranteed to see dolphins. New Quay is very pretty and has a nice beach.

Castell Henllys is a good visit.

The Golden Lion in Newport does a good pub meal.

And I think you're fairly close to the gold mines at Dolaucothi.

Not sure if you're too far from St David's.

I spent a summer excavating Castell Henllys, delighted to hear it is open in some way.

I enjoyed visiting St David's from there.

We've got a boat trip booked from Gwbert and I hoping to find some kind of swimming pool type place for him!
