In the light of the recent thread about holiday homes, I thought it would be fun to start a thread about best locations for holiday homes around UK.
Some things I kept in mind:
Close to attractions and amenities, easily accessible, not overpriced, popular during all seasons, safe.
Here is my list:
Outskirts of whitstable (lots of beach options but also history, culture; easy to access from London; great restaurants)
Just north of new forest ( close to attractions of New forest as well as peppa pig world. Not overpriced)
