Decent travel agent/package holidays

Due to COVID I'm keen to book an ATOL protected package holiday type trip when we are allowed to travel. I'm thinking TUI/Jet2 etc. Did anyone receive good customer service from them with regards to changing bookings/refunds with COVID?

Previously I'd book all the elements separately, but want it all combined as one package.

I don't rate TUI at all, our last trip with them was an expensive shitshow from start to finish.

And I have never had a bad holiday with Tui. A couple of years ago our flight back from Madeira was cancelled due to a technical issue. The pilot came into the gate area and stood on a chair and told us that he had run out of flying hours and couldn't fly back to the UK that day. Tui had already paid for a meal earlier that evening. They gave us more meal vouchers, bussed us all to hotels, paid for us to stay overnight and have breakfast, and flew us back home the next day.

They handled the whole situation brilliantly. I even wrote to them to tell them.

Jet2 were absolutely brilliant last year when our son had two holidays cancelled, they refunded him within days of cancelling in March and May and their customer service reps were excellent (whereas a holiday that me and my husband had booked took Virgin 7 months to refund and their customer service made themselves invisible).

Jet2Holidays were good. We got all our money back, apart from the small deposit because the holiday/flight still went ahead. They have a reputation, I believe, for pretty speedy refunds.

I am a travel agent and Jet2 have been amazing. I personally had no issues with rebooking or refunds with any of my suppliers.

We have had refunds from TUI and Jet2.

The TUI holiday was from April when every man and his dog were trying to ring them and get their money back - from contacting them to getting the money it was about 2 months wait. I think they're much better now.

Jet2 were 3 weeks but this was in January.

I'd book with both again.
