Hi

My parents have had one for the last 5 years or so (they keep buying brand new about every 2 years!) They dont need a car this size anymore but they are so nice!

There is so much room in it! The front seats feel like arm chairs and the boot is massive!

The gear stick is in a bit of a funny place but am sure you'd get used to it.

They have never had any probs with them....

Dh loved ours from a driver's point of view; seating position, controls, large digital speedo, vision good, double sunroof means a nice light roomy interior, and because he's tall the added height is good. He liked the position of the handbrake and the three full seatbelts in the rear, and he liked the versatility - it has lots of spaces for tucking things into. Since we got rid of it for a Touran, though, he has admitted that actually there were a lot of things about it that he didn't like as well - including the fact that the interior plastics are very rattly, and feel very cheap and flimsy.

From a passenger's point of view, I hated it. It has a very soft suspension, so you feel every bump, no matter how slight, and I always felt I was being thrown around too much. It's even worse in the back seats, so dd was often car-sick - something which hasn't happened since we changed cars. The quality of the interior isn't that great, and we didn't find it particularly economical either.

But for the money, you get a lot of car.
