Anyone been to Stiges, Spain?

We're thinking about possibly a couple of nights in Barcelona followed by a few nights in Stiges. We're a family with a 7 year old and a teenager. It looks like a lively seaside town that could suit us all if we stay somewhere with a pool. Has anyone been and have any thoughts? We like good food, maybe a few cultural things, somewhere nice to stroll and friendly, safe atmosphere.

Yes I've been, went alone a few years back so can't comment on family stuff but I really liked it. Chose it due to being massively out priced out of Barcelona but with easy access between the two. I went early April iirc so it was pretty quiet but sunny enough to sunbathe.

Loved walking in the little streets and along the beach. Jumped on the train to Barcelona loads. I remember thinking that it would be great in the summer when busier, massive gay scene too.

Love Sitges, I got married there a few years ago. It's a beautiful town. Porterventura isn't far if your kids love a great theme park on top of a beach holiday.
