Eurocamp in France Recommendations

Hello, I'm thinking about booking Eurocamp for this summer. Our kids will be 5 and 2, we're looking for a mobile home type rather than a tent. Ideally looking for one that has things to keep the kids entertained but that isn't too crowded/ noisy. Doesn't need to be near a beach but would like to be near some nice villages/ towns. I was put off the Vendee as read that it's not very picturesque so was thinking maybe the Dordogne. I was wondering if anyone has any particular recommendations? Probably going in August (if possible of course!).

Le Paradis is excellent because you can get mobile homes with hedges around them. It’s on a riverbank and there are canoeing and kayaking trips organised in the summer, setting off from the on-site jetty. You can hire bikes from the site and there are three good paths immediately accessible which lead to nearby towns and villages.
Le Port de Limeuil is probably one of the smallest sites we’ve been to and also one of the more relaxed. We went when the dc were young and you can float on the river with a swim ring, build little dams, skim stones etc... There were also canoes to hire. The river had a little sandy beach and the site allowed campfires or barbecues on the beach.
St Avit Loisirs is a bigger, busier site but it has a lot more to offer. There are too many activities to name and the swimming pool area is excellent. The mobile homes and chalets are fairly close but the site is very leafy and there are pockets of private areas so it didn’t feel too bad.

We had an amazing time here a few years ago with kids aged 2&4 we wanted something small and near an airport. It was perfect, we didn’t use kids activities but there was some going on. Very friendly resort www.eurocamp.co.uk/campsites/dordogne/dr048-pomport-beach/ataglance.html

We had booked for here last year but pushed it back to this summer... hopefully ... www.eurocamp.co.uk/campsites/languedoc/wm014-le-bois-de-valmarie/ataglance.html

Sorry for late reply, thank you both! @Fivemoreminutes1 I was really keen on St Avis until I read some tripadvisor reviews, saying that it's loud in the evening, there are elbows over sun loungers etc. It's hard trying to find a balance between somewhere nice and peaceful, but that also has lots for the kids to do.

Anyway you have both provided some really good options for me to investigate further, it's much appreciated Smile
