I was supposed to go in February but cancelled it and am planning to move it to 2022. Has anyone been and any recommendations for things to do?

Yes, we’ve been as a family with 2 teens. It’s ranked as their favourite holiday ever.
BUT
It depends on what you’re wanting. If you’re just going to Nassau then there are better places for the beaches, culture and things to do (such as Jamaica). Atlantis however, is a lot of fun and spectacular to visit. We did 6 days here.
We also stayed in Nassau itself at the Baha Mar, which is a higher end hotel but we found it crowded with only OK pools and beach.
Nassau itself hadn’t got a huge amount to see bar shopping and a couple of cultural sites.
We are divers and did shark diving from Nassau.
The best thing in Bahamas is to go to one of the Out Islands. We chose Exuma which is only 1/2 hour flight, had our own villa in a small resort and we LOVED it. Hired a car to visit endless deserted beaches, only ones there. Turtles will swim past you just feet into crystal clear waters. Shopped with the locals , did boat trips to see the iguanas, swimming pigs. Thunderball grotto, swam with nurse sharks, just paradise with a very laid back feel.
So Bahamas does all sorts but it is VERY expensive everywhere especially for food.
So to sum up, if you’re just looking at Nassau, then you may be disappointed as the beaches are ok but better elsewhere and the place is very busy.
But if you’re wanting the peace n quiet and great wildlife, head to one of the other islands for the real Bahamas experience.
