Its my dd 4th birthday in november, Its her first birthday in this area (where all her family are) and wanted to have a proper party for her so booked local church hall. Booked it for a sat 2-4 ans sent out invitations to all her little nursery friends last week.
Sat I find out that a boy in her nursery room (and whose mum works there) als has his party on same day 4-6.
not only did dd really want this boy to come to her party, SHE didnt get an invite to HIS else I woud have known that was when his party was. His mum comes over to me wilst dropping her at nursery and basically makes it clear that she is not happy about her birthday being the same day and almost the same time.I am
a.worried nobody will come to dd party now and she is going to be very upset
b.feel very awkward about whole situation especially as the mum is a member of staff
c. cannot really cancel a booked room and sent out invites and why should I?.should I?

this prob sems really stupid but really wanted a special party for her this year and feel pissed off about all this

That is outrageous, is her son more important that your daughter then?
You shouldn't have to change your plans
