World Conker Championships this Sunday

Wanted to let you know it was taking place this Sunday in Ashton Northants from 10.30 onwards. There are stalls, pagan morris (sp) dancers, food and a beer tent oh yes an lots of adults in fancy dress playing conkers.

We go every year as we're local it's a great day out.

I'd love to go to that, but it's just too far away, as I have to work Sunday nights.

Fingers crossed for good weather

I've got my fingers crossed too. Although I can only remember one year when it has rained.

Mine are soaking in vinegar as we speak. And my conkers.
