Southampton area - things to do in the rain?

Hi, we are going to S/hampton for a weekend with our two children (5months and 2.7yrs) with (childless) extended family. We're planning walks by the sea and in the New Forest if the weather is good enough - but any ideas on things to do locally if it rains?

put on wellies and rain coats and still do the walks with added puddle jumping!
Otherwise there are aquarium in Bournemouth and Portsmouth, the car museum in Beaulieu (spelling could be very wrong!)

Bournemouth has an aquarium, which isn't too far away.
