Malaga in April with kids

Has anyone here done a family holiday in Malaga in April? I've just booked one and now wondering if the sea will be too cold to swim in? I'm guessing the non heated pool will be too cold, so I'm worried swimming is off the table entirely!

Can anyone who's been around that time of year clarify for me?

Yes and yes! We've managed a quick dip in the pool at that time of year, but it was too cold to stay in for long and too cold for young children. It's a lovely time to visit though.

Thanks for your response @EveryDayIsLikeMonday ! I'm thinking I might get us some wetsuits so we can swim for longer if need be. From what I can tell it seems like a lovely time to visit
