Quarantine on arrival in France or Spain

FIL has had a stroke so we may need to drive to Spain.

Quarantine for 2 weeks when we get back isn't a problem but I can't see anything about whether we'd need to quarantine on arrival in France or Spain.

I thought that France had said that UK arrivals would need to quarantine but there is nothing on the gov website.

Where else could I check?

If you look at ‘Entry Requirements’ on the France page of the Foreign Office website, it says people arriving in France from the UK are not required to self-isolate at the moment.

As you say, it has been reported that this will change - so I think you just have to keep checking.
