Anyone on here living in Hackney? Please could you recommend of cheapish restaurant/cafe near to the Hackney Empire?

I'm taking a group to see Lazytown and we would like to eat somewhere afterwards. There will be four adults and four children (3 - 5 years) so must be child friendly.

I'd be grateful for any recommendations.

apparently theres a turkish place next to or near central station which is a bar at bottom of amhurst rd. all turkish restaurants are good with kids. if you turn right out of the empire and head up the road there are som v good vietnamese places...

sorry, memory is v sketchy as have been living far away for years now, but i did once work in the box office at hackney empire
