Left this a bit late i know, but what bottled water should I use for ds. (to drink and mix with formula). Have just heard that some mineral waters have salt in them! We travel on Tuesday and am starting to panic!!

My HV recommended Evian as having the lowest sodium (and I think potassium). Check the label on an Evian bottle & compare with cheaper brands too to find an equivalent.

Enjoy your holiday!

What's wrong with the tap water in France? Sorry if that sounds dumb, but I never used formula.
Having said that, I seem to remember too that Evian is lower in sodium than other brands.

Another vote for Evian, girly. Sofia is right, there is absolutely nothing wrong with tap water in France these days, but Evian is the bottled water to use. Bon voyage!

Most french bottled water has a baby bottle symbol on the side or it will say something like enfants biberons, can't remember the exact phrase!

Was in france in the summer and there was a bottled water (I can't remember the name, something like cantille) that had a blue label with white writeing on it and at the top of the label was a picture of little babies bottle and the words suitable for babies.

I think the idea is that all spring water is ok but mineral water isn't.

Hope that helps.
