Looking for a holiday destination in August - please help.
We like sunshine, a sandy beach, a swimming pool, calm sea, ideally something for DD too - a kids club or playground.
We want to avoid long haul, would consider anywhere in Europe (but not too crowded- is that even possible??), not Turkey, Cyprus or Dubai.
DD is 5, likes to swim, playing with other children, good traveller.
We like Italy but very crowded in August. Any suggestions: places, hotels, resorts etc welcome!
