Long weekend for 40th celebration. Greece? Spain?

A group of six of us would like to get away from a Friday to Monday at the beginning of October for a friend's 40th. We were thinking along the lines of Greece or Spain, preferably travelling from Gatwick. Can anyone recommend either AirBnb or hotel which is nice for a few days not too far from an airport?

Is 15 minutes drive from Phaphos airport

Seville is lovely for short breaks.

We did exactly this in Dubrovnik in early October- not far from the airport too. Loads of options on Airbnb. This year we are doing budva - tivat airport isn't far although we booked the iberostar this time as accommodation wasn't great. Nice is great too - 10 mins on bus from the airport

San Sebastián is amazing - fly into Bilbao (or take the ferry from Portsmouth to Santander) and hit up the Guggenheim museum. Easy connections by bus to San Sebastián - then hit up all the tapas / pinchos bars. It's just a very lovely place to wander around.
