It looks like the opportunity for getting away for 3 nights with DH child free might be coming up at the end of this month or in March.

It will be our first time away after a number of very tough years for our family and it's also to celebrate many years marriage and birthdays.

If you weren't too concerned about budget where would you go for a few days for complete and utter relaxation - lots of sleep, massages and nice dinner (we would more than likely sleep through breakfast and lunch if we could). It would be a bonus if the weather was nice (not dull, windy, raining and damp). I know 3 nights doesn't sound much but I need to seize this opportunity with both hands. We are burnt out.

We'd go on a mini cruise. Love cruises so even a mini one would be lovely. We're not bothered about weather as there's so much to do.

Watergate Bay in Cornwall. Beautiful hotel on the beach, poor with a view of the beach, outdoor sauna and hot tubs, lovely massages, 3 restaurants on site and amazing service. It is pricey, but they do a dinner & stay deal which makes it more affordable.

Look up Bethnal and Bec. We stayed there last year and are so so desperate to go back although there’s only 2 lodges so availability may be an issue

Madeira? It does rain, but not for long periods & it's warm rain !
It's beautiful ; things to do if you want, but perfect for doing not much.
Michelin * restaurant just outside Funchal, & some lovely hotels.

Ooo Madeira - we were suppose to go there a few years ago but had to be cancelled.
