Vaccines for Dominican Republic

We're going in October. How far in advance will we need the jabs? It's dh, myself and two kids. Thank you.

I don't think we got any extras when we went. Are you just staying on a resort? If so I think it's different from if you were actually staying at a homestay.

We went to the Dom rep 25yrs ago, we didn’t need vaccines, but took malaria tabs. Advice may have changed, your GP surgery, will probably hold a travellers clinic. Have a wonderful holiday

Can’t remember what jabs we got but I needed 2 and malaria tablets which I was told to start taking 2 weeks before we went and for 2 weeks after we got home. Think we got injections about a month before.

Enjoy! Bavaro is my absolute favourite place. So jealous 😭
