Passport renewal times

How long are they currently taking? I'm desperate for mine and applied last Monday. Kicking myself for not applying earlier

When I did it online I was kept up to date of the progress I got it back in about a week. But that was last year.

At this time of year it should be fairly quick. The last renewals we did took 10-12 days

I got mine yesterday and applied online on the 30th. They received my old one on the 3rd. And that’s with New Years in between. I did use the online photo service if that helps.

I did the whole thing online and on my own including the photo (used some professional passport photo software for that), it took them like 7-10 days to complete. By now I assume you should have got it back. Have you yet?
