Eurocamp type holiday advice

Hi, we are considering booking a Eurocamp style holiday for next Summer, we have only ever been to hotel resorts before but fancied this. Firstly has anyone got specific park recommendations? Secondly is it essential to drive? Thanks!

We do fly drive. Fly to Barcelona and then hire a car. Loads of parks there within an hour or two. Or try South of France flying to Nice!

La Ruisseau! Biarritz airport is just 15 minutes away and there’s a bus service that takes you directly to the para. Or if you’d prefer, a taxi only costs about €20. There’s something for everyone – the pool complex includes a designated spa area (bliss), plus loads of different sports! There’s even a treetop adventure course suitable for all ages (3 and up). You’ve also got a wide choice of eateries on the park. Going off park, you can take the bus to the beach in Bidart, or take a taxi into Biarritz for a day of culture, shopping and food! And there are park-run excursions like rafting and quad-biking.
We’ve also been to Cambrils in Spain without a car. It’s just 15 minutes in the taxi from Reus airport. Everything there is just so nice: sports pitches, play area, and even the crazy golf course is beautiful! The pool complex is amazing too. The shop on parc sells everything you need so there’s no need to pack lots. PortAventura is a short taxi/bus ride from Cambrils, and just next door to that is the Costa Caribe Water Park. Visits to both are an absolute must! Barcelona can be reached by train or you could go on a park-organised excursion.
