Playa de Fornells vs Cala n Bosch

Struggling to decide between a villa in Playa de Fornells or an apartment in Cala N Bosch.

I’ve been to Cala N Bosch before so know it’s pretty tourist orientated with the marina, bars and restaurants. Not been to Playa Fornells. It’s me and dc aged 14 and 10. I can’t decide if Cala N Bosch would be easier as they could potter about the shops etc themselves and we’d get free entry to the waterpark. On the other hand I wouldn’t have the worry of noise from other people in the villa and I loved our last villa holiday because of this. Apartment option is a bit cheaper but that’s not the main consideration, a relaxing holiday for me and the dc is more important!

I’ve stayed in Cala N Bosch, only briefly visited Fornels.
I would say there is more to do in Cala n Bosch

I stayed in Playa de fornelles - we went in term time and choose it because it was quiet. There was a waterpark at the apartments/hotel (we did SC). The beach was great as not crowded... it's over a wooden walkway. Very long but no facilities. I think you can hire a pedalo in a bay. There are a few restaurants, ice cream shop. We had evening entertainment but never went. Mine were 4, 6 and 8 I think. Now I would probably choose somewhere with more to do in walking distance. I haven't been to Cala en Bosc so can't comment on that. We had a car so went out most days. We also met friends while out there. If you plan to do these sorts of things P d Fornelles is a great base.
