Cheap (but good!) AI resorts

Hi. So, 2020 will be my turn to take the children away for their main summer holiday (ex husband and I do it on alternate years).
I'll be on my own with my 18 year old (maybe), and definitely my 13 and 10 year olds. All girls, so no issues with sharing, although my eldest has misophonia, so a separate sleeping space for her would be beyond ideal.

I definitely fancy an AI break; I work full-time, and it's so nice to have a break from cooking and all the other mundane day-to-day stuff.

Has to be from Edinburgh Airport, 14 nights.

I'm hoping I might have missed a gem of a place out there. Reasonably priced (my budget isn't huge), with a decent clientele. Good food and stuff to do, close to a beach, shopping, etc.

I work in a school and would be able to go from the end of June. I don't mind about destination.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much.

try here. its located in paphos, cyprus and whilst it is all inclusive, it's a short journey from the town centre so shops etc

Came on to suggest looking in the deals section of Jet2holidays and I see that sleep has also suggested a jet2 holiday.

I know you say you want to travel from Edinburgh, but it's worth looking at the cost of the same dates and whatever hotel you choose from Newcastle as the saving could be significant, so could enable you to get a better holiday for your budget.

Also, with Jet2, you don't have to stick to exactly 14 nights, if you go to somewhere they fly daily, which is the case for most popular European holiday destinations, you could go for 12, 13, 15 nights etc.

If the 18 YO comes, also look in the free child places section and you might be able to find a villa complex that does AI, so gives you plenty of space, but also the AI that you want.

Thanks to you both. My heart has actually been telling me Greece, and that place looks nice, but it's coming out at 5kish, and I had hoped for lower (probably unrealistically!).
The Newcastle idea is a really good one, but not something I'd do personally, with the 3 kids on my own and no car.

Jet 2 are definitely my favourite operator. We went to Tenerife with them a couple of years back, and found the whole process really smooth.
I can't find a deals section on the app, so maybe that's more of a last minute thing.

I would recommend Jet2holidays too. Went AI for the first time ever with them this year to Costa Adeje and had a lovely time. For specifics you’d probably be better giving us a rough budget

I've never been here, but just an example. I love this website, spend hours on there 😀

Thanks for the later replies too Smile

Re budget, I'd like the £ to be followed by a 3 if possible. They are out there, and it just takes a bit of work to find the ones with good reviews.

Bulgaria, anyone? Grin
