Canary Islands-swim up pool room

Hello all!
Been looking on tui, Thomas cook and first choice but there’s no filter so it’s taking ages. Can anyone recommend somewhere on the canaries with a swim up pool room please. Not adults only as we have a toddler. So far I’ve only found one 😔
Husband wants a villa with its own pool but I think I’d prefer the security of a package holiday so am trying to compromise with a room/apartment that has direct access to a pool.
Thanks all!

Sorry I’m no help but I too would like to hear suggestions for this. That or a pool with a swim up bar lol. Hopefully commenting will keep it on active for you for a while

PinkDaydreams · 27/08/2019 13:44

@irishtwo thanks for the helpful bump! It’s so annoying, I even asked a travel agent if there is a way of filtering out swim up rooms only and she said it’s one of the things they keep reporting back to head office as it would help their job too.

Not quite a swim-up pool, but we have been to the same hotel for the last two years with our toddler. Every room is set next to one of the pools. We could put toddler down to nap in the bedroom and the living room opened up with french doors onto your own terrace area right by the pool. Some are closer to the pool than others. Worked perfectly for us.

Anyway, it’s with jet2 and called The Koaka Garden hotel in Maspalomas on Gran Canaria

mnahmnah · 27/08/2019 13:48

Koala garden!

mnahmnah · 27/08/2019 13:51

This was our room last year if it helps

Lopesan BaoBab in Maspalomas has them

Piggywaspushed · 27/08/2019 13:53

That's Tui in Gran Canaria by the way

PinkDaydreams · 27/08/2019 14:08

@mnahmnah that looks fab!
@Piggywaspushed I’ll be sure to check out that hotel too :)

I think I’ll get bored in a villa by ourselves, at least with a hotel there’s more likely to be kids activities for the little one to join in with.

The entertainment team are fab, they love little ones and come round with games during the day. Not intrusive though! They have to be 4 for the kids club, but there’s a great mini disco each night that all the little ones get involved in. And a fab splash park which you’ll see on the website

Having the same issue, spent last night trawling websites so marking place.

babasaclover · 27/08/2019 14:13

No canaries but we stayed at the holiday village Montenegro and they do 2 bedroom swim up rooms. Ideal and the temperature of the pools was so lovely could just get struggling in!

I hate holiday sites - they never show you what you want.

PinkDaydreams · 27/08/2019 14:55

It’ll be from end of October or anytime November through to December that we are thinking of going.

Sorry didn’t finish typing.......so hoping for somewhere with nice weather which is why we thought canaries as the flight isn’t too long either. Any other sunny destinations will be welcomed Smile

@Piggywaspushed that hotel is beautiful! We used to book that kind of place before little one came along. Unfortunately no swim up rooms available Sad took ages to go through every date

Oh that's a shame.Its a lovely hotel.

OakDining · 27/08/2019 20:32

There’s a Baobab in Tenerife as well and they have private pools

CurlyhairedAssassin · 27/08/2019 23:23

Royal Garden Villas Tenerife?

CurlyhairedAssassin · 27/08/2019 23:26

Oh, probably not for families that one!

CurlyhairedAssassin · 27/08/2019 23:28

Are you sure you want a toddler right next to a swim up pool? I wouldn’t be able to relax the whole time I was there!

PinkDaydreams · 28/08/2019 08:17

I’m thinking I’m not going to be able to relax anyway as I’ll be running round after him wherever we go 😂

Tui SENSATORI have swim up rooms

PinkDaydreams · 28/08/2019 09:42

@BarbaraofSeville thank you so much for that tip, I’ve looked on jet2 but didn’t realise the complex villa, very handy!
Are jet2 a reputable company to book with?
