We're thinking of going next year, but I'm worried that many of the beach towns will have closed down for the winter. We like to SC, but also to eat out, have a local cafe to grab a coffee and a pastry, a supermarket, some local life.
Our DSs are active and we want to do some walking, we'd also like to be on or near a beach. We'll probably hire a car to explore. Any recommendations of where to base ourselves? We'll be flying from London, so flights shouldn't be a problem. We're not that keen on being in a city, tbh, but is that the best bet for stuff being open in the third week of Oct? TIA.
