Car seats on holiday

Does anyone know what car seat laws there are-we're going to Minorca in september with our dd who'll be 13.5 months and we have booked a taxi from the airport-but just remembered about dd -do we need to phone and contact them to arrange a car seat?
Are they bound to charge a lot for this?

we prebooked one for dd in Majorca.

not a huge amount. I think we are paying £36 euros for a fotnight for two. You need to book sharpish though.

Or even Menorca!
We booked on line and I can't get trough when I phone so have just emailed. [angy]
That sounds not too bad though chopster!

Can anyone tell me what the laws are and if there are any in Menorca regarding car seats.

Company finally got back to us and have said they can't guarentee a car seat so we should take our own....this feels a bit silly seeing as it it just for the taxi transfer to and from the airport

Do we risk it?
