Short trip with toddler while pregnant with no 2

Hi mumsnetters - my husband and I would like to take a short trip in September ahead of our new baby arrival in December. Our toddler will be 2 in August. Just wondering what places you would recommend that would be fun for DS and relaxing for us? Was about to book centre parcs but not sure if that works activities wise when pregnant as I’ve never been?

We are in similar position with 18 month old and pregnant with no. 2 and have booked a weekend in centre parcs in November. I’d pay the extra to be closer to the pool etc so you don’t have too much walking around but apart from that I can’t see a problem with being pregnant. Lots of outdoor parks, soft play in restaurants and swimming for little one.

Well, what would you like to do and how far do you want to go? Rather something relaxing, or activity?

A few suggestions:
If your toddler likes swimming, you could go to some aqua park thing or thermal resort.
If you want to do something for you and your husband, what about a city trip? As long as you make sure it's stroller-friendly and there are playgrounds and parks your child can have a break in, that'd be nice too.
If you live in the city and want some calm, then maybe somewhere in the countryside, next to a nice forest, maybe staying on a farm?

Have a beach holiday! The schools will be back, the sea will still be warm and you could have some really good weather. When I was heavily pregnant, I enjoyed gentle strolls barefoot along the beach, and my puffy feet loved paddling in sea! You could get a decent set of camping chairs so that you could sit comfortably whenever you need to.
