We are flying to Orlando next week and due to the number of us going we have had to book cheaper flights. We are hoping to upgrade but just incase we can't I was going to buy a nintendo ds lite for dd to keep her amused on the plane as she will not have an individual screen.

Can we take them on board planes and does anyone else have ideas of how to ammuse and almost six year old on a nine hour flight

IIRC you can't use them on take off/landing but otherwise it's fine.

thanks will bear that in mind.

I think you have to be able to switch off any broadcast facility on it. Not sure if this is possible or not with the DS.

We took them to Italy. No-one said anything about switching them off at take off and landing.
