Holiday ideas with 21 month old in March

Any ideas? Don't have a set budget per se but def need to keep costs down and get good value for money. We were thinking of Canary Islands for the weather but I wanted to fly from Liverpool airport and the options seem quite limited. We don't want to go somewhere where we are stuck on the resort with nothing nearby to do or see, even if it's just a few shops, small museum, park etc. So then we thought maybe a cheap European city break instead but ideally somewhere that doesn't rain much/won't be too cold. We would be going early March probs. Was looking at Lisbon for example?

Any ideas, suggestions, tips ?

Hi there @MeadowHay

Thanks for reporting your thread to us. We've now idea why you weren't able to post in the section you wanted - how annoying!

We've now nipped in and moved the thread to Travel Advice, as requested. Hopefully someone will be along soon to offer some sage words about the Canaries.

Hope you get something booked and have a lovely time when you get away.

Smile

Any suggestions? A friend has suggested Ibiza, but I'm not sure it would be worth the money at that time of year as it won't really be warm enough beach and outdoor pools etc.

If your budget is sufficient, how about a cruise, some go from Liverpool even but more often Southampton or fly to Barcelona. Very high standards of accommodation, childcare and different things to visit each day. Many go to the canaries and the ai cruises are comparable to hotels often
