Hope someone can help in some way with this before I spend hours on the phone!

My DS is in Magaluf atm. He has travelled be train and ferry. Boarding pass was printed out for him when he was in UK but we were unable to print the return pass as it had to be seven days before iykwim.

Can anyone suggest anything - tourist information might print it off, the hotel or an internet cafe maybe? I just want to advise him a the most pain free way to get hold of it.

Thank you

Hotel, library, tourist information point?

Guardsman18 · 27/06/2019 08:15

Thanks Gloopy. Are you suggesting or have you done it?

Most ferry companies have an app, so you can download the pass onto a phone. Which company is it?

Does his hotel have a business lounge?

If not he should ask at the desk and they can probably direct him somewhere that can help.

I second Lopdedop- just put it in his phone. Most major airlines, cruise lines and ferry companies have this facility nowadays. I haven’t printed a boarding card in years.

Just looked. Balearia will do pass on a phone. Transmediterrania don't seem to offer that option, but you can pick it up at the ticket office at the port before boarding.

Thanks @lopdedop. I wondered why he had printed it! That'll be why. It's Transmediterrania.

He's panicking a bit and I think he wants it in his hand before going to the Ferry Port. I know I may sound a bit thick (I am!) but I want to reassure him that he can find the ticket office easily. Will he?

Yes. Very obvious in the entrance at the port. If he allows an extra half hour in case of queues it will be fine.

Thank you so much. I have given him the information and hopefully he can now enjoy the rest of the holiday!
