Not very long! It is small, but it has EVERYTHING in it, it is very very well done. Lots to read and look at. Interesting to see full size cyberman etc. Good shop at the end! We've got some really good photos from our visit.

You can make a day/afternoon of it, as it is in a place that has food places (we went to nice italian) and then also cinema and bowling.

We really enjoyed it; exhibition, lunch then cinema.

Thanks for that. Excited now! Going to get planning.

Errrmmmm...... I'm really sorry but..... It doesn't take very long. Sorry. I thought it was really small and overpriced. Suppose it depends on how old the kids are and how much they're into Dr Who. It's ok, like, but certainly not cheap but for what it is. DS was five and watched Dr Who with his dad. Took us about half an hour, if that.

If you're in the area, and don't fancy cinema, try Techniquest over the road (still not cheap but much better generally for a few hours) and there may be something going on in the Wales Millennium Centre - there's a free exhibition there about what how stages and theatres work. And lots of Torchwood stuff is filmed around the Millennium Centre.

So, if, say, I wanted to do Dr Who from Hertfordshire and pop in and see FILLYJONK on the way, it would then be worth it, yes?

But, entirely dependent on Fillyjonk making me tea and cake, yes?

Fillyjonk - you reading?

Ok, sad though it is we're actually going to drive up from London for a day trip to Cardiff in a couple of weeks. Definitely going to visit the DW exhibition and the Techiquest thing looks good, but any other suggestions of things to do would be greatly appreciated. DH thinks we're mad but the Dcs really, really want to go (I made the mistake of mentioning it not too seriously after reading a thread about filming schedules, and they jumped at it they're as geeky as me!)
