Is this done individually or does the lead booking do it for everyone?

Flying with Thomas Cook but can't see the answer on line

Actually the booking is for 3 friends all on one booking, do the 3 people check in online separately

I think it is the lead person who checks in for everyone.

If you go into the account , it’ll give the option to check in each person individually. But you’ll need the log in

So would each individual have their boarding pass on their own phone, or the lead person has the 3 passes on his phone

By account do you mean the manage my booking bit

Lead person can download/print the passes and email/pass them on to the additional passengers.

ssd · 09/06/2019 00:06

But can each individual also check in separately? Lead passenger is 17 and I don't want to leave this up to him

My most recent experience was with Jet 2 which I guess might be the same.

I checked in and could send the boarding passes to others for the wallet on their iPhone. I assume android will have similar.
I also printed them all off for back up.

You should just be able to check in using the group reference number and your surname, it should then find the booking regardless of it being part of a group

ssd · 09/06/2019 00:18

OK thanks. Is there anyway I can find out the total cost of the booking too?

Also if a booking is made for 3 individuals is it normal for the balance to be paid in full straight away? Eg. No deposit just full payment, even 6 months in advance?

Maybe if you explain the problem it will be easier for us to offer solutions?

You want to know how to check in?

You want to known the cost?

You want to know of it was paid in full?

Flights or holiday package?

The lead guest is 17 and it sounds like something has gone wrong or you do not truest them?

Individuals probably can check in themselves or the lead booker can do it. You can usually check in with the booking reference and your name even if you didn't make the booking yourself.

Flights almost certainly paid for in full at the time of booking if booked by an individual not a travel agent.
