Family cycling in the Loire?

We are looking to camp for a week in the Loire this summer and are looking for the best place that has good, easy family cycling. DD is 7 so won't go too far and we'd like to be able to cycle from the campsite , preferably near some nice vineyard too! Any suggestions? Currently looking at Saumur and the Huttopia site looks good but are there any really good bits for cycling? We will want to go back to the campsite each day so not looking for a cycle tour.

This Castels site has good access to cycling www.camping-castels.co.uk/campsite/beauregard/activites#mini-site-camping and we’ve seen lots of groups of cyclists at Parc de Fierbois.

There’s a nice camp site in Chinon just by the river. We don’t cycle but there would be some good routes nearby I think.

We had a flat around the corner and have been a lot over the years and I don’t remember there being lots of mozzies, don’t think I’ve been bitten whilst there from memory

The owners were so welcoming and it was obvious that a lot of thought, time, effort and money had gone into making sure everything was just right. No mozzies!

We've booked Beauregard for a week. It looks great and I got a lovely email answering all my questions from them. Can't wait!! Thanks for the recommendation:)

Huttopia Saumur is on top of a massive hill! Not sure my 7 year old would have managed the ride up...

Thanks wow. I'm looking forward to my week at Beauregard.
