Dublin - perfect restaurant for our 30th WA

Going to Dublin for a couple of nights over our 30th wedding anniversary all booked by dh. I've said I'll book somewhere to eat and am after recommendations from locals or people who've been recently.

I'd like somewhere with a view if possible, quirky, varied menu and not second mortgage prices. We are staying in Temple Bar (course we are, we are tourists). Could just look on tripadvisor but I trust you more.

Please make my pearl wedding anniversary perfect. TY

Don't have any restaurant reviews I'm afraid but ignore all the posters who will surely pile in to tell you Dublin is shit Grin. It's a beautiful city. If you're looking for something to do I'd recommend the Kilmainham Gaol tour.

It's ok, I've been before I know! It's convenient, cheapish and different to home. I'm looking forward to it! I saw that gaol tour but the pic was just loads of people in a room looking upwards so I wasn't quite sure what it really was?

Etto would be my choice although it doesn't have much of a view

The Winding Stair has a view of the Liffey (if you get a window seat)

Kilmainham Gaol is where many Irish revolutionaries were held and later executed. The tour is a great look into the history of the Irish Republic.

I've been to the Winding Stair, it's tiny but lovely, fantastic food.

Sophies in the dean hotel has a view and the marker hotel has a roof top bar.

The winding stair looks perfect thank you.
