Not sure if this is the right place, but looking for insurance for my mum. How and what do you declare, she has several ongoing issues nothing major but just associated niggles with her age, a few bladder problems, digestion issues she has being seeing doctor for and she also had breast cancer 20 years ago. Do you literally have to declare everything.

I think you do have to declare everything. I’ve just sorted out similar. I used a comparison site to buy annual insurance for a 73 year old it seems over 75 you may have difficulty with an annual policy. It was for Europe only mind you not sure what happens if you need rest of the world or USA. Worked out quite reasonable despite existing conditions. Hope that helps.

Sorry what I mean is it may be invalid if you don’t declare absolutely everything

Try AllClear travel insurance- I have MH problems, epilepsy & Osteopaenia so I use them.

Sorry for not getting back sooner I've been away for a few days. How do you go on if you've forgotten what you've been to the doctors for, mum has had issues with indigestion over the years along with arthritis, slight memery loss among other things, but is generally well and fit.

Just declare everything and any medication, If its nothing serious it shouldn't increase the premiums too much.

I think that's the problem, she can't remember everything she's seen the doctor for
