Holiday with deep pool and footy pitch

Hi I am going on holiday with my 12 year old son for whit half term. I am looking for a hotel with a pool deep enough to dive in and a football pitch to keep him entertained and meeting other kids. Has to be one where you don't need a car for. I was looking at Tenerife or anywhere warm in the med. Any suggestions anyone?

The pools which allow diving are going to be those with lifeguards on duty so maybe search on this criteria first and see what comes up.

I remember that being my hotel search criteria when DSs were a similar age. We did stay in one with a stupidly deep pool where no-one could stand up ( so useless for water polo). DS1 was thrilled with it.
I think it was in Cala n Bosch Menorca.
