Has anyone been to Cyprus in October?

What was it like? Was it hot and sunny? Was everything shut down? Was it busy?

we went last year, 4th - 18th Oct, to Coral Bay.
Weather was hotter than I was expecting, high 20's, evening were warm (apart from the one night when there was a massive thunderstorm and we had hailstones!). Everything was open.

Cool, I went in May and it was lovely so was thinking about October - but wondered if it was the same at the end of the season.
