Jupiter Albufeira hotel first week of may

Some advice please, I’m planning to book a last minute holiday for us for first week of May to Jupiter Albufeira hotel.
Has anyone been and would you recommend a All inclusive or bed & breakfast?
2 adults
1 x 3yr old & 1 x 5m old.

Never been to Europe and always travelled long haul before kids arrived, so unsure.

Could you please advice on any tips too pls?

I’ve always preferred sc, but if Imwere to go to a hotel in Albufeira I’d opt for b&b, there are so many fantastic restaurants in Albufeira that I wouldn’t want to be stuck to the hotel. Old town Albufeira has a lot going on in the early evenings, and for me the best part of being on holiday, including when my dcs were younger, was going for a wander in the evening to find somewhere to eat. You’ll find there are loads of families with children of similar age to yours out for a wander and food in the early evening.
I’ll be there in the middle of May and can’t wait!
