Ryanair car seats - pre-book needed?

Hi, our daughter is flying with Ryanair in July. She is hiring a car at her destination and wondered if she needed to tell Ryanair when she booked, that she will be taking a car seat?

As the car seat is free (she is traveling with our grandson), can she just turn up at the airport with the seat or should she have flagged up with Ryanair that she needed to take the car seat during the booking process?

Thanks ... Grandparent in panic mode!!

Is it going into the hold? It will get checked in with the other baggage

We flew with them last year. Just turned up with car seats and checked them in in the oversize baggage section. They will then go in the hold for you to pick up on the luggage carousel on the other side
