We're goin to blackpool soon and just wondered if there's a nice english heritage place near by to visit on the way back as we're members?

Lancs is very light on heritage stuff! There are only a couple of NT places and no English Heritage at all I don't think. Where are you coming from, Juniper?

Wrong again - there are a few but very small - Sawley Abbey and Whalley Abbey are nice ruiny things, don't think you have to pay for them anyway...this is their search page. (Click on the map link)
