We've not been before (as paying adults that is!) looking to take our will be 9 and 6 year olds next year. Hanging on for the DDP release, anyone else? Where you hoping to book?

Yes I am Smile

I think we will look at 7 nights Beach Club 7 nights I drive.

When are you planning on going? Where do you fancy?

llynnnn · 29/03/2019 13:15

Me! I'd like to book 10 nights in a Disney moderate with Quick service Dining and then 4 nights in Royal Pacific at Universal in the school summer hols 2020

Keeping everything crossed for a free dining offer...if not we'll have to have a rethink and probably just stay on Internation Drive again (which we did in April 17 and was brilliant!) just really fancy being in the bubble and trying all the different Disney foods and snacks this time. read a lot of peoples thinking that there may not be free dining offers this year though, with the opening of star wars land, or even if there is it wont be available during peak summer hols times.... :(

YolandaVerranda · 29/03/2019 14:49

Me!

It will be our 4th visit (we go every 2 years) and we always stay at Port Orleans Riverside and last time Royal Pacific which we are repeating. Keeping filling my Disney needs with TheDibb and watching Tim Tracker.

@llynnnn in the past Disney haven't offered free dining on certain hotels like Port Orleans because it fills itself and therefore there is no need for an incentive. But that is for the US visitors. UK get a much better offer with very few blackout dates (Easter, Christmas)

The draw of Star Wars will be huge but I still believe they will be offering it.

llynnnn · 01/04/2019 13:59

YolandaVerranda that sounds promising then, keeping everything firmly crossed! We stayed one night at Royal Pacific last time (for the free fast passes!) and really loved it, its sucha beautiful resort, I can't wait to get back to be able to explore it more

Announcement on the disney website....they are offering it bookable from 25th April, a little limited on dates, but includes summer hols :)

Can I ask what people do about booking flights??
We're wanting to go after SATS week 2020 so obviously too early to book the flights, so do people book their hotel and just suck up the flight prices which match their hotel booking??
Thanks

Ihatesundays · 24/04/2019 12:00

@feellike we just book separately. I know flights aren’t generally available when you book Disney but it’s where we save money as I find a non direct flight saves you a lot.
We’ve changed in New York and Dublin before and it’s alwsys made the flights cheaper than direct.

Can’t wait till tomorrow morning!

feellikezerobucks · 24/04/2019 15:55

@Ihatesundays do you know what time it goes live? Midnight?

Ihatesundays · 24/04/2019 16:18

I’m not sure - I was also wondering this!

Ihatesundays · 27/04/2019 17:23

Has anyone booked?

feellikezerobucks · 27/04/2019 18:55

@Ihatesundays

Yes, queued for 30 mins at midnight but ended up going to bed and waking up and booking at 5am instead🤦🏽‍♀️

Did you book??

Tbh, I think I fell for the hype as I looked last night and it would have been cheaper to have booked then but thinking we might upgrade to DDP depending on flight costs

Bokky · 27/04/2019 18:57

We booked last night and will book flights separately when they are released 11 months before we go.

Ihatesundays · 27/04/2019 20:59

I’m just about to. Where we wanted to go isn’t available so have been researching where else to stay, so just need to sit down and do it now!

I spend ages getting on the website on the first day, ridiculous.

Exciting!!

MsLayla · 27/04/2019 21:07

We booked ours a couple of nights ago when it came out.
Can't wait.

feduuup · 28/04/2019 10:25

I booked, I fell for the hype and ended up booking CBR as CSR wasn't available, then 2 days later CSR is now available £250 cheaper than CBR. I think I'm going to leave it though as I've convinced myself CBR looks a bit more exciting to kids and the skyline looks helpful.
