Has anyone heard of Hapimag?

I had a friend mention this. It's a Swiss company that's been going since the 1960s.
It sounds similar to a timeshare concept but you pay an annual fixed fee and get the choice of nice hotels for about £20pppn.
Im going to ask my friend what the fees are and if there is any obligation. She a very rational person so I don't think it's a con or get rich quick scheme, especially as it's been going over 50 years.
There was one Mumsnet post asking about it back in 2011 but it got no replies.
Anyone come across it before?

I asked her, the fees are about £6000! I think I may stick to Travelodges.
