Bakewell on a Sunday, on my own

I'm staying in an Air B&B in Bakewell in April while DH is on a course.

Any ideas on what to do during Sunday on my own? I have been there on a day trip previously. I'm not much of a rambler, especially on my own.
Thanks

Chatsworth House is only about 3 miles away.

Certainly an option! Thank you.

I work in the peaks and spend loads of time there on my own!

Amble round Blackwell, find a cosy cafe with a quiet corner and a pile of papers. Chatsworth is great, the farm shop is even better. Chesterfield is nearby if you want modern shops and a retail park.

Go for a swim at the open air pool at hathersage, that's lovely (and very heated!) there is a pool in Bakewell too and a gym.

Buxton, Matlock and Ashbourne are pretty market towns.

This is my ideal of a dream day. I love Bakewell so much. Agree with pp about Chatsworth, but Haddon Hall is even more beautiful (and quieter!) if you like that kind of thing.

I'd probably just end up mooching around town, stopping for Bakewell pudding, buying the papers and just bimbling about a bit. Bliss!

I hope it's dry! Am looking forwards to it 😁
