Planning to spend a day out in London visiting museums with DC and need recommendations for lunch! We are massive foodies, willing to be adventurous, no chains or touristy spots please!

We will be heading from Imperial War museum pre-lunch to Holborn so anywhere on the way will be ideal.

My dcs love hipchips it’s an over priced crisp shop. But is fun! They do sweet and salty crisps and you chose dips for the crisps. The dips are all fresh and amazing.
Down the same road is a nata shop which is amazing (often queues out the door and round the corner), there’s also a nitro ice cream shop near by which the kids didn’t like but I did.
I’ll find some links.

They are all around soho so not hugely local to where you will be, but I always try and squeeze them in if we are in London

All of these are on your way from IWM to Holborn and are my tried and tested favourites

Roka Aldwych (chain of 3 in london but the best Sushi and Robata)
Anchor and Hope on The Cut Southwark (high end gastro pub)
Opera Tavern Catherine Street Covent Garden. (Great Tapas)

Thanks SaveKevin, HipChips sounds amazing! DC hate nitro ice cream but I love it. Happy to go to Soho for something special.
