Greek Sports Club holidays in August

I'm thinking Neilson/Mark Warner/Ocean Elements.

Are they madly busy in school holidays? Are you fighting for sunbeds and beach space and needing to sign up for your turn in the kayak on Wednesday when you arrive on Monday?
We're 3 families travelling together - 13 of us! - so have up til now just done villas with pools on the Atlantic side of Europe, but feel like to get the best out of Med with teens we should throw in some good water activities, otherwise we'll just be paying a huge premium for the good weather.
Would really appreciate any advice.

summer holiday I should say. August.

I've done Neilsons in Greece (lemnos) Yes there was signing up in advance for tuition but you can take boats out whenever you want if you dont need tuition. Not been in August though. Pool at lemnos is big. Food good an nice nearby harbour village. Acc I thought basic. Beach unattractive but allege one of the best Neilsons beaches.

we did ocean elements in Vasiliki and whilst it was busy I felt that this was quite small enough to not feel too mobbed. the place next door is club vass which is a lot bigger and a lot more expensive. a week is about enough though any longer and it might have got on my nerves with the numbers etc.

Did Vass with Ocean Elements. Suggest staying in the little hotel opposite the main complex. Pool is quieter. Kids are mainly in kids clubs and kayaks etc were readily available although we went in May at half term. Neilson is next door. The quality of tuition is really good. Beach isn't a beach and as ever twits bag loungers and don't use them. Will be very hot in summer though.
