Anyone been to Turkey in April

Was thinking of going to Turkey at the end of April but not sure if it will be warm enough for the kids to use the pools, don't want them to freeze in the water.

Anyone been? What was the weather like?

I did last year I went to marmaris it’s just before season so a lot of the pools aren’t heated but it’s still warm enough to use them ,they don’t open water parks either but it’s still warm ,Light cardi weather at night and shorts weather in the day

Depends actually how old your kids are I wouldn’t want my 1 year old in it but older kids would be fine especially if playing

I went to Fethiye in mid-April and it was really quite cloudy and chilly. Definitely not pool weather.

I am thinking of going to Antalya. The kids are 4,6 and 8 and the pool and waterslides are the main attraction for them. Prices are less than half for the summer, now I know why.

Am thinking of getting them wetsuits which might help keep them warm in the water.

Antalya is the warmest part of Turkey in April.

I used to live in Bodrum, which is usually a couple of degrees cooler and I found the sea and the pools very cold that time of year. The days are usually warm and sunny but the evenings can be quite chilly.

We went in May and found the weather gorgeous but the pools and sea were still really cold. Went to Icmeler and loved it.
