Help! I am trying to find a large house in France for a family reunion and am drawing a blank. There will be 12 to 20 of us. As half the party is travelling from another continent ideally it needs to be an easy journey from Paris either a shortish drive or close to a train station that offers connections from Paris. Weather needs to be reliably warm in early August. Must have heated fenced pool. Doesn’t need to be near beach but does need to be near things to do.
Biggest issue I am finding is room configuration as we have several young children with us from pre school up so we ideally need rooms with single or bunk beds. Also we want to put the kids to bed and socialise downstairs so while have rooms across two buildings is ok we need all the kids and their parents to be in the main house.
Lots of houses have big bedrooms with double beds which isn’t what is needed. I am also finding there seems to be either super luxurious places all en suite etc which we don’t need or a bit too basic and nothing in the middle. Any suggestions much appreciated
